LINCOLN-SUDBURY 57, EAST BOSTON 39: Senior center John Swords had 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots to pace eighth-seeded Lincoln-Sudbury to an easy Division 1 North first round win over ninth-seeded East Boston.

L-S (18-3) plays the winner of tonight's matchup between top-seeded St. John's Prep and No. 16 Billerica in a quarterfinal on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Senior forward Dominic Douglas collected eight points and 10 rebounds, senior guard Mitch Perez netted 16 points, and senior guard Denny Cakert had six points, 10 assists and five steals in the win for the Warriors.
